Please be sure to read the MESSAGE below!
Read this http://fitnesse.org/FitNesse.UserGuide.OneMinuteDescription if you are not familar to acceptance testing.
You can be interested in Setup PowerSlim Step by Step if you already have Fitnesse installed. In that case powerslim.py slim.ps1 is all you need.
But the best way is to start from the powerslim.msi if you are not familar to PowerSlim. It will give you the basic idea how to deal with the PowerSlim. We are not going to drive you around and around...The demo suite will start at the end of the PowerSlim setup. You will find there how to specify the Fitnesse test runner, how to write simple queries against your SUT.

PowerSlim and SQL

MESSAGE: This project has been moved to the github. The implementation on github is the pure PowerShell implementation. You don't need to have IronPython, waferslim! All you need is just PowerShell.

Hi celeron504, check the latest PowerSlim 0.3. I have added the TestFitnesseRootPage - shows how to use the HtmlAgilityPack in your tests.

Hello Velaskec,

Thank you for responding. Sorry for the delay. I would definitely be interested in the samples for testing web services using PowerSlim. Html Agility Pack sounds interesting as well as the solution for Selenium.

Is there any news on the next version of PowerSlim? I would gladly assist in any way (software testing is my full-time hobby) I can.

Thanks!

Hi!
We have two technics to test web services. Both of them are based on PowerSlim :) One is in conjunction with [url:Selenium|http://seleniumhq.org]. Second with [url:Html Agility Pack|http://htmlagilitypack.codeplex.com/].
I'll post the examples soon.
We are going to release the next version by the July, 10.

Hello all!

I am looking forward to the next release!

Can someone document or show me how to use this tool against, say, a web service? I am trying to compare this tool against Psexpect.

Thank you for the great product!
